Evangelism and Home Missions
A WORD FROM THE DIRECTOR OF EVANGELISM AND HOME MISSIONS
The Evangelism and Home Missions Department is dedicated to reaching the lost while building relationships in the church and the community through church planting, church growth and leadership development.
Thurman H. Jenkins, Jr.
Leadership Development
The most critical time of a relay race is during the transfer of the baton from one runner to another. The race can be won or lost depending upon the passing of the baton. We face these critical times in the church so often which is why leadership development is so important. We must mentor and build healthy growing pastors, to lead healthy growing churches.

State Chaplaincy Program and Chaplaincy Training

- The first church planter was Jesus who said “upon this rock I will build my church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.”
- Many are continuing to follow His example by laying a lively stone here and there to build up a spiritual house that we might show forth praises unto Him that has called up out of darkness unto His marvelous light.
